We're a nation of laws but the good thing about America is that laws reside in the people and people can change the laws.
So I would say God hates war but God loves every soldier.
You do have to change things as warfare changes.
As a kid I wanted to write science fiction and I was never without a book. Later I really got into being a scientist and never thought I'd be writing novels.
