The biggest problem is people are afraid of poetry think they can't understand it or that it will be boring.
You have to remind kids to stay connected to the meaning of Christmas....
I write poetry in order to live more fully.
Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential.
